Arrival at Luang Prabang international airport and meet your guide then transfer to your hotel.

This evening, enjoy The Ancient Kingdom walking inside the peninsular along confluence of Khan and Mekong River and surrounding beautiful Lao and French architecture of this small and charming World Heritage town. Day 2 : AUTHENTIC LUANG PRABANG (B/L)

Today you will discover a little about the secret of bamboo work in Laos as well as enjoying some of the beautiful natures and rice fields surrounded your local guide will escort you to see and touch with local people  

Begin your half day at The Bamboo Experience, where you will meet with the rest of your group for an explanation of the bamboo works in Laos and it’s meaningful to Lao people. Your guide will show you the technique and/or the usage of each product as such fishing tools, music instruments etc. Start your simple bamboo weaving class with an expert (but patient!) teacher, try your hand at the knife sharpening, bamboo cutting (into pieces) and then try the traditional bamboo weaving for about one hour to complete your own mat to take home with, as a souvenir. Then, proceed to the bamboo cooking demonstration (you are free to assist) as such bamboo shoot soup, bamboo shoot steamed in banana leaf, fermented bamboo shoot dipping and sticky rice and more. Savour your creations at the end of the session in traditional Lao house (Pavilion style) overlooking the wonderful scenery and rice fields. The emphasis is to have fun and learn a little about bamboo work and bamboo dishes. (Lunch included)

This late afternoon enjoy half day UNESCO sightseeing visit to the most photographed temple, WAT XIENGTHONG. Located at the end of peninsular closed to the confluence of Mekong and Khan River. Continue to former Royal Palace, now the National Museum. Visit Wat Mai, a temple renowned for its golden bas-relief. During Pimai, the Lao New Year, the Prabang normally housed in the Royal Palace Museum is brought and put on public display in this temple. Before back to hotel, enjoy a sunset drinks on the terrace by the Mekong River.

Day 3 : LUANG PRABANG – MIGHTY MEKONG RIVER -BUDDHA CAVE

This morning board a traditional long trail boat, for a relaxing cruise upstream on the mighty Mekong River. Enjoy stunning mountain scenery and witness the simple rural lifestyles.

Stop and visit Ban XANGKHONG, a weaving village, where you can jump into wooden looms with local expert for practical and experience. You will reach Pak Ou caves at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Ou Rivers. In these 2 caves are displayed hundreds of sacred centuries-old Buddha images which are the object of pilgrimages during the Lao New Year festivities around mid April.

The boat then keeps cruising in the vicinity of the caves and will moor during lunch time at the foot of beautiful limestone cliffs. A selection of typical Lao dishes will be served on the confluence of Mekong and Ou River.

Cruise back to Luang Prabang and the rest of afternoon are at leisure.

An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning alms giving ritual to saffron clad monks. This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving this procession. Enjoy your UNESCO morning walk to understand insight of this charming toen stop and visit fresh local markets and back to hotel for breakfast

This morning travelling outskirt of Luang prabang, driving through green rice paddies and farms. Stop for visit few villages of H’mong and Lao loum people, your guide can introduce you to local people and its great opportunity for you to involving with their daily activities such as wooden cotton spinning, weaving, rice harvesting and green vegetable farms. On your arrival  at the fall enjoy your short walking on trails of falls to visit the bear rescued centre, the lunch will be served in front main waterfalls with spectacular views and surrounding of orchids inside the park and falls cascade over many calcified tiers and down several hundred feet into a series of cool, turquoise pools. You can cool off with a swim. Continue to visit hundreds of butterflies by exploring and photographing them. late afternoon enjoy climb up PHOUSI mountain 328 steps to see the spectacular views of this small charming town from high view point.

Day 5 : LUANG PRANG – FLIGHT TO PAKSE

Check out and drive to airport for flight to Pakse.

This afternoon, enjoy city walking inside the peninsular of Se Don and Mekong River. Climb to the pagoda for worship and you also will have opportunity to chat with the monks and novices to understand insight of Theravada Buddhism and their daily life in the temple. From high view point, there is surrounding mountain and spectacular views of rivers then walk back to the hotel and choose yourself any restaurant by the bank river for dinner.

Day 6 : PAKSE – TREE TOP EXPLORER

Drive about an hour to the village of Ban Nongluang, where you will meet your local guide for an important safety briefing before you begin a hike through coffee plantations and vegetable gardens to a semi-evergreen forest.

Time to hit the trail! Start by winding downhill past ravines, waterfalls and flower-studded plateaus. Along the way, the guides will point out plants used in village kitchens or as herbal medicines. You will then cross a soaring forest walkway above a steep river valley. Pass Tiger Waterfall and reach the larger Kamet Waterfall, where water plunges more than 100 metres into a densely forested basin. After a break for lunch, ride a nearby zip line through the trees!

Settle for the night in the camp and have dinner at a restaurant nearby. Over dinner, swap stories from your exciting day! Then retire to tree houses perched about 10 metres above the forest floor. They are made of wood, bamboo and grass, in traditional Lao style and can only be reached by a zipline.

Day 7 : TREKKING AND – JUNGLE FLIGHT

Awake to the sound of chirping birds and enjoy a simple European-style breakfast. Then trek for about 30 minutes to another set of zip-lines. The longest, at 400 m is a supreme thrill! It also brings you close to the upper level of the forest. After a picnic lunch in the forest, head back to camp via the Red Rock Stream, where you’ll have plenty of time to relax and swim. Spend another night at the camp. By now you should be perfectly settled in your new forest home!

Day 8 : TREKKING JUNGLE - PAKSÉ

The last day of your adventure features a final round of tree-top escapades. After breakfast, trek uphill past old-growth trees that have so far escaped the logger’s chainsaw. The trail ends at a steep rock wall that is only by climbed using a steel cable attached to the rock with iron bolts.

This last activity - ascending the rock face - requires a slightly larger dose of courage and adrenaline. But don’t worry, it’s entirely safe and doable! After reaching the summit, one of the highest peaks you are rewarded with a stunning vista of forests and water falls. On clear days you can even see into neighbouring Thailand. After a mountain-top lunch, hike for about 90 minutes on an easy trail to Ban Nongluang.

A car will be waiting to return you to Pakse. Transfer to airport for your departure flight.
