The partnership between Back Ride Travel and clients have to be based on a clear business contract on which both sides agree with all provisions discussed.

Our Terms and Conditions:

By payment of the required deposit as well as any partial or full payment for a reservation of any tours offered by Back Ride Travel (BRT), the agent consents to all provisions of the Terms and Conditions and information contained herein, which may not be amended in any way except in writing and signed for by an authorized officer Back Ride Travel (BRT)

PAYMENT

Full payment is required at least 32-47 days before departure.

For the bookings of which departure is less than 32-47 days, full payment is required as long as booking is sent to Back Ride Travel.

CHILD DISCOUNT

Children under 11 years is generally granted a reduction up to 25% of airfare, provided when they are accompanied by at least two full-paying adults and stays in the same room ( share bed with 2 adults). An extra bed is fully charged as adult. 

CANCELLATIONS POLICY

All cancellations must be received in writing, sent to us via fax or email. The percentage fee applied for cancellations mostly depend on cancellation policy of hotels in booking.

a. Hotels in Luang Prabang:  

1.       30+ days before arrival date - no cancellation fee
2.       1-30 days before arrival date – full charged

b. Hotels in other provinces:

1.        20+ days before arrival date - no cancellation fee
2.        16-20 days before arrival date – 10% charged
3.        15 days before arrival date – 50% charged
4.        1-14 days before arrival date – 100% charged

c.  Others services (Transportation, tour guide…)

1.        10+ days before arrival date - no cancellation fee
2.        1-10 days before arrival date – 100% charged

This policy is applied only for FIT booking, and not applied for GIT, bookings in peak season or any bookings with special deposit/payment request mentioned by our sales team upon booking processing. 

UNUSED SERVICES

No refunds or exchanges can be made with respect to accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, included in the tour price, but not utilized by the tour members.

RESPONSIBILITY

Back Ride Travel will commit to all the services as confirmed and stated in tour confirmation. Upon sending tour confirmation, we will include complete information on places and destinations; we will not hold any responsibility shall theses destinations change for any reasons beyond our control. In this particular case, we will arrange the visit to alternative sites with similar costs. Besides, all possible care is taken to ensure that our suppliers maintain the highest possible standards. However, we are not responsible in any way for problems, however they arise, that result from the booking of services we do not directly control.

Back Ride Travel is not liable for any injury, loss, delay to person or property, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly due to any events beyond our control. 

FLIGHTS

Please be advised that flight schedules by Laos Airlines are subject to change without prior notice. In case of any change in the flight schedule, the itinerary will be adjusted accordingly. BRT will do everything to guarantee the price and program as confirmed, but reserves the right to inform parties of any incurred surcharges. Furthermore, BRT shall not be liable for the issues clients may encounter regarding schedule change and possible missed flight connections.

TIPS

Tips and gratuities to tour assistants, such as local guides, drivers, and hotel personnel are not included, and are at tour member’s discretion.
Here is a general recommendation for your guests: 5 USD per day per person and half that price for the driver is generous. If in a large group, you may consider lowering this amount to a more reasonable tip. For hotel/cruise bell boys, the price is usually 1-2 USD for each time they move in (or out) the luggage.
Tipping in restaurants are not compulsory, but you can consider the international rule of 10% of the bill amount. If you play golf, compulsory tip to caddie is min. 10-15USD per pax per round.

VISA & TRAVEL INSURENCE

Visa fee & Travel insurance are not included in BRT tour package. Please be adviced in Travel Guide for further informations.
